Cunningham played for Henry Clay and before that Scott Co before finishing up at Cordia. He is a Ky boy and good to see the kid make it.

Too bad his daddy is the horrible human who stole MILLIONS of dollars from all those sick people a decade ago, the fen-phen case. Glad that didn't bring this kid down and stop him from making it.

This has nothing to do with this young mans accomplishment. Why would you post something like this?

Maybe a Mod can delete the pathetic comment you made.

Just speaking the truth. This is not an opinion. Look it up. It's common knowledge and fact. This is a forum of talk/chat about honesty, not rumors, right? And did you all read my last sentence. I said I'm glad that crap his father pulled idn't stop this kid from making it.

The kid started high school at Scott County. He left Scott County when the head coach at Scott County refused to promise Cunningham's mother that Cunningham would have a starting position. Billy Hicks's quote was "I wouldn't promise Michael Jordon a starting position." He transferred to Henry Clay. I have no idea why he left Henry Clay. Both Scott County and Henry Clay were highly successful the seasons after Cunningham transferred.

In my opinion, Cunningham had a ton of talent but played as a "me first" type player.

Not only his mother, but his brother, too. Always right in the middle of things when it came to his career trying to do things like the Scott Co. situation.

And the reason I brought up the other thing is I watched American Greed: Scams on MSNBC the other night and it was all about William Gallion, Melbourne Mills, Jr, and Shirley Cunningham stealing MILLIONS of dollars from their clients in the fen-phen case. It was absolutely pathetic what they did.

But, this kid, even if he has played with a 'me first' attitude has made it to a good college to continue his career despite all the crap that's happened around him, and he has a VERY good man/person who is going to be his head coach in Scott Padgett. Let's hope he continues to grow into a responsible human being!
