The Cornett and Combs boys from Cordia are now playing with Knott County, don't know how they will get eligible, but I'm sure it won't be a problem, LOL. The 3 8th graders that were playing at Cordia will all 3 be at PCC as Freshman, will be 3 good additions. Lulu and Newell will stay if Rod stays, but if not it's untelling where they end up. Perry also has gotten Blair from Buckhorn and Whitmore from Breathitt. Should be interesting to see what all happens.

I don't know what 3 eight graders you are talking about. Keita will be at cordia lulu will be back and if nowell returns from ny he will be at cordia. Why would any of these kids want to leave and go to perry. Cordia will be really good next year. Perry is not a good place to be if you are a guard now they are guard heavy they are going to have about 9 or 10. I have heard nowell will be going the prep school route. That hurts he would have been the best to ever come out of this region. With him and keta being both nationally ranked that would have been an awesome 1-2 punch.

Cordia was supposed to have been good last year,, and year before. How did that turn out? If I was at Cordia,, I'd go to kcc,, pcc or hazard too. You wanna shot at state you go to those 3 schools. Rod don't appear to be all that at coaching.

Mx1 the last time I checked I thought cordia has had a good team the last 2 years. Now I will give you one thing they have not been able to beat knott but everyone else they have beaten hell they won 26 games last year and was all a state runner up to a good NCC team that by the way beat knott last year also. All I got to say is knott better enjoy it while it lasts because after this season they will take a major step back. Hazard or perry has not won anything in the last 5 years for hazard and about 4 for perry. I will agree the history of those schools in the past is better but we live in the moment and at the moment cordia has better overall talent than hazard or perry either one. Knott has 2 really good players and two role players. Perry has one good player and I can't see hazard being much unless their players that sit out last year are really really good I just don't see hazard as a big threat. Just to be honest as bad as I hate to admit it everyone is playing for second place behind knott this year.

I don't agree with the majority of your rambling, but I see some truth sprinkled into this.

A couple of things I'd like to add.

If Rod sticks with Cordia for a few more years...
he will probably lay 100+ on Knott in a couple of years unless something changes.

and

If you're going to say that Hazard and Perry haven't won anything in 4 or 5 years...
then you need to mention that Cordia hasn't won anything EVER.

I still stick with what I said. After dominating the 14th for 4 years,, I'd be happy to hand it over to Perry or hazard. But it'll never be Cordia that does anything,, lol. Not until they get an assistant that knows how to help Rod coach.

Yea, I know them but you remember the name oumar keta, marquis nowell. Everyone in the knott co grade school system knows nowell very well he did not even play but a couple of games as a 8th grader due to injury. The games he did play he was not even 50% and he was unstoppable. At 100% he would have had 70 points in the championship game. Hell he had nearly 50 on one leg and two of the above were double teaming and could not stop him. The boys you mentioned killerb are decent players but they are not the type than can separate knott from the rest of the pack.
