RUMOR: Roderick Rhodes to Red Bird

If Rhodes was to come to the 13th, OBI would be more of a logical place than Red Bird. OBI can get kids from wherever and give them what they want. The 'Dean' or whatever that oversees everything wants to have a All 'A' contender and I think he would consider Rhodes. OBI had 2 good players last year, the coaches son and the real athletic Shooting Guard. The coaches son graduated so I think the current coach (who is the principal) would consider taking on an assistant coaching job and do most of the coaching where as Rhodes could be labeled the "Head Guy" but just work his magic in recruiting. I think Red Bird doesn't prioritize winning basketball games. Either way, if Rhodes does go to OBI, Red Bird, or stays at Cordia, he needs to set a good foundation and get committed to one place.

Committed to one place?
Kind of like the players who come from parts unknown to Cordia?

Red Bird and OBI have religious-based schools with class. It doesn't add up.

Are you saying that the players that come to Cordia don't have to attend class?? Wow how do they get by with that?

Everyone needs to remember that these are kids that you are talking about. No matter where they come from or where they attend, they are children. Sure KHSAA isn't conducting themselves in a fair manner or treated each case fairly, but what it comes down to is the adults making bad decisions. Whether it is recruiting from in-state or out-state, it is all the same. One shouldn't blame children for bad decisions of adults.
