topnotch Wrote:First I want to apologize for being rude but if you will google divison 1 football teams I just posted, it will tell you the teams in division1 and you will see where Appalachian State will be listed as a team or school who has applied to the NCAA to become A D1 school in football, there are several teams that have applied. I think the NCAA has A list of requirements schools have to meet to be considered I believe you have A stadium that is up to date and seats so many, I never said that D1 schools play only D1 schools, I did say they play often, sometimes the lower division school upsets the D1 school, they play for the money the D1 school offers. I know Brooks padded the schedule in order to win 5 games and get A bowl. HE DAMN NEAR WIPED US OUT People didn't come to the games. who wanted to see UK play popcorn U. I think this coach is going in the right direction. I don't have anything else to add to this subject, If you say MURRAY and Austin Peay are D1 then byjolly they are.

How many SEC games did he win year after Year?

Enough to get bowl eligible. And several big wins that Kentucky could never get before (Georgia in 06 at home, LSU at home 2007, Arkansas on the road 2007, Auburn on the road 2008, Georgia on the road 2009, etc.) Nice tactic switching to SEC wins considering you were dead wrong about every other point you've made.
Anyway, congrats to this young man for picking up the offer. In today's ultra competitive recruiting world an offer from a D1 school is a huge deal. Hope he gets many more and can make a great decision about where to play his college ball. As they say when you have lots of good options its tough to choose a bad one. Good luck and congrats to the young man.

a betting line.

Then what are these for?

Brooks for Prez.
During Brooks stay at UK do you know what his record was It was great. He won 39 games. Only problem was He LOST 47. if you want to crow about that then have at it. Most of his Wins were lower division schools. few SEC . Joker followed in his footsteps and played the schedule Brookes layed out. Weak very Weak

I checked in on the website they had about 10 games listed in those games, about all of them had a lower division team playing a D1 school, Every D1 team usually has a betting line BELEIVE ME I KNOW exception when they are playing a very weak lower division team.
