This has more sports than just basketball in it, but we gave out some awards to some of the region's top players and teams - just for fun.

Just curious, would McDaniel as a golfer doing what he did this summer not count because of it not being on the high school circuit? If so, the JPGA title may be the most impressive thing anyone did.

I would agree, but we will have to wait and see how he does coming back from ACL surgery. He tore it on the first play in the Russell Co game.
