Perry gets another win. How did the bully do tonight?

surprised by this score. North must have played one heck of a game. We know they are well coached

I think Clay may be the best team in EKY.

Would like to know who you got. KCC and PCC only options I'd put in front of them right now.

PCC and North are both well coached

have watched the commodores play this year. love seeing several players coming off the bench. which has been a rare sight the past few years, seeing the commodores playin 8 or 9 guys. this can only help things down the road. the commodores havea good crop of young talent. - turn your frown upside down smiley has come back to town.

Again, PCC on the road always seem to struggle.
12-15-2013, 04:46 PM
Well clay did beat north laurel by 12. Just sayin".
12-15-2013, 04:48 PM
While PCC is a very good team, this North Laurel team is on the rise. We ranked them 13th in the region last week, but they jumped to 8th this week.

Not saying they are but there's not much of a gap.

Anyone got any insight as to why this game was close?
No disrespect to North Laurel... but I thought that after Jake moved on down the road that they would struggle against a team like Perry.
They very well could have just outplayed the Commodores but I would have set this spread at double digits after watching Perry beat Hazard and Breathitt by double digits.

Brad Sizemore my friend is the main reason. You wouldn't pick 3 of North's starters in pickup just by looking at them yet they hang in games. And Broughton had around 30.
12-15-2013, 11:00 PM
I saw Broughton had 30 and I heard the big guys kept Johnson in check.
Perry counts on so much production from Braxton and Johnson that if one of them doesn't have a big game the other has a lot of pressure on them.
Since they are going so deep into the bench this early they may have some of that taken care of by the the of the season.

This^^^. Guys a coach. Took a team that wasn't very talented to Rupp. Give him time and he can put together a game plan to give his team a chance.

Young and talented coach, winning combo for the future.

Trust me when I say this. Just because your region recruits college talent, it doesn't make them the best "teams".

North Laurel jumped five spots in our new power rankings. I think they're on the rise. You can see it here:

NL had a really good game plan. I've said this on here b4 that PCC isn't that good yet. Not making any excuses because NL played really well and PCC didn't play well. PCC looked tired from the get go. Score was 53-40 in PCC's favor w/ 3 mins to go in the 3rd period. Tobler stole the ball(it was clean) and they called him for a foul. Then he got a T for telling the red it wasn't a foul, lol. They hit like 4 free throws and got ball back and hit a 3. It was a 2/3 pt game from that point on. Until PCC's guards other than Brax steps up and starts making better decisions they will continue to struggle. Toomer, Pray and Fugate all still out and 2 of them are starters on PCC's team and should help a ton once they come back. Time will tell!

Any win against a 13th region opponent in a 13th region gym is a good win. Congrats to Brad for a well coached game and this NL team will b tuff out come end of season.

Do you have a projected date of return for these three?
12-16-2013, 03:51 PM
Toomer and Fugate will b around Jan 1st, Pray prob a couple weeks after them.
12-16-2013, 03:52 PM
PCC becomes a TON quicker and a lot better defensively. Should be a much better team at that point. Should b able to play 8/10 kids.
