If Iggy conquers his health issues, SW becomes the favorite on paper in the west 3A region. SW has a stable of big, strong D1 athletes. From experience - I would never count Central out, but Wayne looks awfully tough on paper. If the cards fall/dust settles according to predictions, that seemingly sets up a SW/Wayne Co. for the west semis.

Caveat: Sleepers lurk in 3A. And someone will have to win here:

You are in for a doozy, lets just say Estill is the complete opposite of what they have been for the last 15 years.

Strikeout - what's the scouting report on Estill Co?

Pretty much what both HSFOOTBALL and WILDCAT NATION said. Estill has 2,626 total yards of offense, Trevor Jones has 1,836 total yards of that by himself and he's just a junior. Estill should be better next year then they are this year. They do loses 5 from this year. Estill did get a transfer from Garrard County this year who's a Junior.

I think that Estill needs to beat Garrard tomorrow to keep from going to Russell.

Trevor is a player.... We are calling him "Mr Trevor Football" in Garrard. Can't wait to
see him play.... Taulbee is the transfer from Garrard. He is a great kid, good work ethic.
He will make Estill proud..... Got to see him at the GC/WH game with some of the other
players.... Great bunch of kids!!! I'll be there rooting for Garrard, but glad to see Estill
having success!!

According to the stats I have seen -- South Warren says it has allowed (allowed? given up perhaps) 387 total yards in nine games this season and a very miserly 32 yards rushing.

That's a pretty pretty impressive stat.

My understanding is if this stands, it would be a regular season KHSAA defensive record. I expect these numbers will swell a bit as opposition quality increases up the playoff tree, but still a very, very cautionary statistic for any potential 3A foes.
