- Ryback is featured on WWE's Battleground poster. Of note, injured top star John Cena is listed as one of the wrestlers appearing on the PPV. This indicates WWE's PPV preview was submitted prior to Cena being taken off TV.

PPV description: "The battle for dominance in WWE is just beginning. See John Cena, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, The Shield, and all your favorite WWE Superstars square off at WWE Battleground."
