Jenkins 36 Phelps 34
#1
Final.
#2
Both teams turned everything over, and there were at least 35 injuries. A big play that stands out to me is on 4th and goal (from the 15 though) after a sack, Phelps hurries to the line and SPIKES THE BALL with 20 seconds left... on fourth down! A shot to the end zone gets caught and that's the difference in this game.

Glad to see the Cavs get a win. Any word on how bad the injuries was?

Congrats to Jenkins.

How did Timmy May play for Phelps?
#7
Considering Phelps got blown out by this group last year, I'd imagine pretty good.
#8
Timmy May didn't play.

No major injuries, just a lot of cramps, turnovers dominated this game there was at least 10 fumbles. Hats off to the cavs for the victory. Best of luck to phelps the rest of the season!

cramps are typical this time of year, even more so when two teams are playing iron-man football as was the case friday. i believe phelps was in better condition as it was clear to me that jenkins was gassed near the end of the first half. the phelps qb made a mental mistake with the spike, barring that he had a heck of a game, i would say close to if not over 300 yards on the ground. as fast of a kid you will see in pike county. could timmy may have made a difference? jenkins converted 5 or more 3rd and 8 or longer i think with may on the field that number drops more than half maybe more, with that and some contribution on offense i think that would have made up the 2 points and been converted into a victory. timmy may will not play until game three

Is he going to be eligible this season?

I completely agree #4 was the best player on the field that night. Ran wild on them and put Phelps in position to win.
