Rumored IC Match: Wade Barrett © vs. The Miz vs. Fandango


On RAW, The Shied defended their respective titles against the former champions who they defeated at Extreme Rules. Ambrose retained the US Title against Kofi Kingston, while Reigns & Rollins successfully held on to the Tag Titles after a hard fought match against Team Hell No.

With those rematches already having taken place, it looks like The Shield will have fresh opponents

Will this be the night that Fandango captures the IC championship like Stone Cold predicted? (Predicted that Fandango would be IC Champ in 6-8 months)

CM Punk will be returning to face Chris Jericho....Punk should be returning sooner than that to TV (or at least I'm assuming he will)

Could have done Punk's return a little bit better than this...perhaps some teasers instead of just outright announcing that he's going to be there.

But if it plants the seeds for a potential Punk/Lesnar feud...I'll take it back.

^ That's one angle WWE is looking at. Having Punk and Lesnar team together then after awhile both Heyman and Lesnar will turn on Punk, turning Punk back into a baby face.
