According to KHSAA this is PCC's 10th appearance in championship game in 15 years/KCC's 6th. PCC is 5-4/KCC is 2-3. In 4 previous head to head PCC is 3-1. PCC has never went more than 2 years without a championship game playing in 4 in a row 08-11. KCC is currently in their 4th straight 10 - 13, after going 9 years without a championship appearance.
