North Laurel vs Clay Co, 49th District Final
#1
This is the third meeting between these teams this year. Clay won both, 68- 53 with NL missing big man Allen and the second 58 -52 with Allen. However, Clay won the first two last year with NL winning the third game. I look for the same thing this year in a low scoring game. Jags by 4, 51 - 47.

Low scoring game? 51 points for a Brad Sizemore coached team is like any other team scoring 110. LoL. I dont think they scored 51 in the overtime game against Jackson did they?

If Clay County comes to play, 72-58. If not, 55-51. All depends. No disrespect meant.

Clay Co by 6....61-55.

This game will be great!! I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see overtime once or twice in this matchup.

Still, it's really difficult to beat a team 3 times in one year. I think I'm going with North Laurel by 4.......in overtime!!

Good luck to both teams!

Clay by 10+.. NL can't shutdown Reed and the others. Clay is playing like a different team. If they focus on McDaniel Reed, Lyttle, Bowling will destroy them.
If they allow McDaniel freedom he'll drop 30. Key is foul trouble. If Clay gets in foul trouble it will be a very close game.

EKY - I agree. Clay County is riding an 11 game win streak into this game.

Granny Bear- better hope Clay takes care of business tonight or it could be Deja Vu in Harlan Co come next week.

If Clay was too possibly lose this game, Bobby Keith will coach the region.
Clay wins by 14!

Could be....you never know. BUT if Clay is as improved as they appear to be NL could be a better match up for us.

Clay Co. should win this game, but North has the size inside to give any team in the region problems. I look for Clay Co. to speed up North Laurel and pull off a 10 point win.
