Lawrence County 56, Morgan County 30

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 7-3 on the year and are on a 4 game winning streak now with a 56-30 win last night at home over Morgan County (2-5). This one was decided early on as the Dawgs were up 34-3 at one point in the first half.

Taylor Porter finished with 27 points ( 7 3's), 5 of those coming in the first quarter.

Sophomore Ashleigh Adkins added 8 points, 12 rebs, and 4 blocks

Senior Kara Kirk added 8

Shelby Hay had 6

Yeah Coach Harless said after winning three close games, and losing a few close ones that this team need a win like this. This time last year LC was 4-5, and this year they are 7-3.. hmm i think they are getting better don't you?

Yep I think they are getting better. LC will be tough as long as Porter doesn't get in foul trouble. But if she does I think they will have a little trouble scoring with other teams. She can create her own shot most of the time and that helps a ton

Yeah she can, if she stays out out of foul trouble, i like their chances in any game. They should have beaten Magoffin, and Powell County both
