I have heard that Bryant from Whitley was playing I believe, because I heard he would be missing a couple of basketball games this week. Also I heard that Canady would not be playing.

I was never a big fan at all with the setup for this game. I think the Louisville schools have a huge advantage no matter what year you play it. They are more familiar with eachother as players etc. and coaching staffs. always favors them. They need to change the format to east vs west or north vs south etc.
It reminds me of what NKY started 4 years ago at the end of their pee wee football season. They had an all star game that was Boone Co. pee wee league players vs Kenton & Campbell county players. Boone won and the main reason was all the kids have played together for years and years and faced an all star team where the other team never played together before, and it showed. Although the Campbell/Kenton team was made up mostly of kids who are now at Highlands and CCH where we all know how good those High School teams are, they couldn't compete when they first started playing together for the first time, especially when you only have 1 week to prepare.
Louisville may have lost the majority of these...i don't know. But doesn't mean the format is correct still.
It reminds me of professional all star games when they play the world vs US type of thing. But what do I know, I'm just a fan lol.

The BOB game falls right in the middle of the the D-1 contact period, so some of the D-1/BCS level recruits will be making their on campus official visits before the dead period begins again in mid December. These schools push hard to get these kids on campus before the dead period. For example, I heard that the Louisville Ballard OL/Bloomfield will not be playing in the BOB due to an official visit, but will be playing in the January 2013 Border Bowl.
