Outlook: The road ahead will be difficult for the Tigers, but coach Miller said his players enjoy the opportunity to compete regularly against the top teams in the state, in their own back yard. âVery tough district, but they like the challenge. I think the tougher schedule toughened us up,â said Miller, whose Tigers are in their second season in Division II of the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference. Maus and Nussbaum, both three-year starters, âare the nucleus of our team,â the coach said. âOur strengths will be toughness and some good size.â Junior Mitch Shover is an improving guard.
