Monroe County- South Warren 11/16/12
#1
this should be a good game,i may give the edge to SW..
#2
really? the game is at Tompkinsville, and the Falcons have already beaten SW 41-0 at SW.
#3
SW by 21-28

I think SW is on a roll. They smacked a pretty good Fort Campbell team. Monroe is pretty well coached. They scout pretty well and develop a game plan and stick with it. Should be a pretty good game.
#5
I think this one has already been settled once, should be about the same.
#6
South Warren 35-12

Wow many are thinking SW will win after being beat pretty good the first time around. Has South improved that much or monroe got worse?
#8
If Monroe is healthy I believe they win. I do not think it will be the same margin as last time.
However don't sleep on SW. Those of us that have been around for a long time know there is a reason for the saying " its hard to beat a good team twice". I have seen 50+ playoff re-matches go the other way in my years of following the game. One year Dunbar beat Henry Clay 18-15 in the regular season. A few weeks later Henry Clay turned the tables on them to the tune of 56-6 in the playoffs. It happens.

The play of the Full Back (Hodges) and Tail Back (Wilson) for Monroe will be the difference in this game. Hodges opens huge holes and Wilson will flat run over someone if given the chance. South Warren is my "Little team that could", but on Friday night they cant. I'll take the Falcons big, rematch or not.

Sounds like Monroe is a power football team. What does SW do on offense?
