1. Bell County- Bobcats sit on top of the rankings as all the teams below them battle it out.
2. Knox Central- Despite the loss to undefeated Russell County, K-N-O-X narrowly edges Johnson Central thanks to their early season victory.
3. Johnson Central- Golden Eagles are #3 with a bullet and a convincing win against Belfry may be enough to move them up a notch.
4. Ashland- Heartbreaking loss in Paintsville in an evenly matched game.
5. Harlan County- Black Bears are cruising along and have more quality wins than Breathitt, additionally the Bobcats SOS took a hit this week as all their quality wins (Somerset, Hazard, Morgan County) narrowly escaped against perceived weak opposition.
Game of the Week:
Bell County @ Harlan County- With a pair of marquee regional matchups, this one is just too hard to top. Black Bears get Bell on their brand new gridiron and seem to be peaking at the right time.
