I thought Conner was going to be one of the better teams in NKY this year. Did Conner have injuries or are the young players for Dixie catching up to the level of play.

Does this mean anything to Conner come district play? Should there be any concern or was this just a fluke? Nonetheless, congrats to Dixie on the big win!

Dixie ran a new offense and made a few player changes. The new rb #36 never went down on the first hit. The qb played very well. Dixies tall TE played well.

Said it since the begining of the year, Cooper takes this district.

Big surprise. I thought Conner was better than that. Did Dixie go with a youth movement? By the time kids at Dixie get to their Jr and Sr seasons in the past they've gotten soft. Either thru a lack of conditioning or from losing.

talked to several people that were at the game, and it sounds like Conner was flat and Dixie turned up the heat.
Conner was up 24 to 7 at halftime and then lightning struck, creating an hour delay. After the delay, Dixie came out moving on offense, gassing Conner's defense. Dixie then pressured Conner's offense and wore out Barker and Fogle. By the time Conner caught it's breath, Dixie was up 33 to 24 in the 4th quarter.
