WTF Uniforms for a dynasty of players. Watching the Reds/Phillies series, they showed Pete Rose in a Phillie uniform. That was a tough pill to swallow as a youth growing up. The Big Red Machine was decimated and seeing the stars goes elsewhere and be put into Alien Uniforms will forever be a sour pill to swallow!

Two of the worst mistakes the Reds front office has ever made: trading away Frank Robinson, and breaking up the Big Red Machine. Wonder how many more World Series they would have won?

I beg to differ on this one Dusty! That card should have NEVER been printed. He didn't even make the team.

Dave was released because he was finished. His time was up in the sport. He wasn't traded or lost to Free Agency. Dave tried to make the Angels team. But, just couldn't do it.
His bid to make the team ended on a Tuesday–March 28–1988 and Concepcion retired playing for no team other than the Reds in a regular season game.


My favorite player of all time. I should know. Killed me when he was let go and retired...:Sad04:
