Recruit de-commits from Indiana because of Kentucky and Syracuse
#1
Yesterday, Indiana 2014 commit Trey Lyles decided he wanted to explore the vast world of basketball college recruiting and decommitted from Tom Crean and Indiana.

Lyles still said that Indiana was at the top of his list, but he wanted to look at other schools, which doesn't surprise me with any kid that commits as a freshman.

Well, now Kentucky's name has come into the mix of a possible school that Lyles may be looking at and Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com is now hearing there may have been some talks prior to Lyles decommitting.

Keep hearing, through multiple sources, that Syracuse & Kentucky had been poking around with Trey Lyles prior to his de-commitment from IU.

I would not be surprised if Lyles visits Kentucky, but that doesn't necessarily think there was contact before.

Heck, what does it matter anyway?

Recruiting is wide open until there is a LOI signed and with Lyles being a 2014 recruit, there is a long time to wait for that to happen.

I still think Lyles is the one that received that "tweet" from Tom Crean.

Who wouldn't want to go to another school after that.
