I just think if Spud was the player that people are trying to hype him up to be, he would have been a stand out player last season even when they had Brandon. I just dont see a player coming from the shadows of one player to scoring 20 a game and being a major college prospect over a summer. Yes he may get more looks and be expected to do more now that Brandon is gone, but I dont think he will have the season that people are trying to say he will have.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

Spud is a nice pt guard and will develop the next two years. His ability to get by people is his best characteristic as a pt guard. He's hard to pressure...His jump shot hasn't developed from 15 and out. His mid-range jumper is solid and he elevates in the paint as well as any small guard in the area.
In addition, he's a competitor and will do what it takes to win. His leadership abilities will only grow the next two years. Spud, work on the three ball and I only see great things for you...Good Luck!!!
