Lebron James wins MVP.
#1
Lebron wins his 3rd MVP award in the last 4 seasons.

Well deserved, for the best player in the world.

Very well deserved!

Lol.

Well I agree he played well enough this year to deserve this MVP, case could have been made for Durant, but I can't say he should have got one of the others he was awarded.

Well, I'm not going to disagree with this Wink

There were no other serious contenders for the MVP this season. Lebron's stats placed him on a different level than anybody else in the league.

^^^ Durant wasn't a serious contender? Really? The scoring champ, who helped lead his team to one of the best records in the league was not a serious contender? I think all the commentators and analysts throughout the season would disagree with you.

Lebron James 1st Place Votes: 85

Kevin Durant 1st Place Votes: 24

If you compare their stat lines, it is hard to understand why the vote was not unanimous. Durant had a great season but James was without doubt the MVP. I think most of the "commentators and analysts" who know what they are talking about would have voted for Lebron, as I would have.

As for scoring titles, Lebron James elected not to pursue the scoring title. He outshot Durant, the NBA's scoring leader by 3.5 percent from the field and he outshot Kobe, the second leading scorer by 10 percentage points from the field. James could lead the league in scoring any time that he wants.

Durant was NOT in this race.
It went to the better player hands-down.

Scoring champ doesn't always correlate to MVP...
ask Kobe - who was passed up for MVP when he won the scoring title. Steve Nash got MVP instead.

Ironic getting MVP 3 of the last 4 seasons since that is how many quarters he plays in a game.Confusednicker:
