Kentucky All-State Basketball 2011-12 | Jenna Crittendon, Ryle
#1
School: Ryle

Grade: Senior

Position: Guard

Height: 5-10

On the floor: A five-year varsity starter, Crittendon averaged 17 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.2 assists as a senior. She shot 52 percent, topped 30 points three times and had 15 double-doubles. A second-team All-State selection as a junior, Crittendon was one of five finalists for Miss Basketball and was a four-time all-region performer. She finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in points (1,911) and rebounds (866).

Off the floor: Crittendon was not on the recent list of players picked to try out for the Kentucky All-Star team because she’s rehabilitating an ankle injury and is expected to be out a couple of months.

Future: She has signed to play for Xavier University.

Quotable: “Jenna’s performance and leadership since arriving at Ryle as an eighth-grader have been the driving force behind the program rising to a top-10 program in the state,” coach Patti Oliverio said. “She is very athletic and versatile and plays the game hard on both ends of the floor.”
