PCC is a great team with all the telent they have but if they are allowed to play a physical game they will not get beat. With all the hand checking, reach in and body the other team. They just are to physical of a team for anybody to beat. But when they get the sweet 16 refs from other part of state calls it tight. PCC will not beat teams by 20 to 30 points. I have not seen a more physical girls team in a long time.

That is a characteristic of Randy Napier teams. Strap it on or take a good beating.

Perry has played way more physical games than that. You hardly ever see any teams in the state tournament win by 20 or 30. That would not be expected of them or any team. The 16 teams that make it to the sweet sixteen are pretty good or they wouldn't be there.

When they get a game in the sweet 16 and have refs call a tight game they might be in trouble. They have the talent to win the sweet 16 but if a game is call tight they might be in trouble

In the state tourney, officials are instructed to let them play. It is usually called very loose rather than tight. But some officials get caught up in the action and go on their own tangent sometimes.

Two fine High School careers ended with this game. Congratulations to the Lady Pats two Seniors, Kelsie Jacobs and Sasha Pike. You will be missed!

Kelsie finishes her High school play with 1630 points and 515 rebounds.

Sasha finishes her career with 1070 points and 991 rebounds.

I agree bigjake, these two girls deserve to be recognized for their contribution to KCC. Kelsie has been greatly overlooked because of her size. This is unfair because many girls with height cannot match up with her ability to drive and score. When you see her rebound time after time over girls much taller, it makes you wonder who is the better player, those that can reach the goal or someone like Kelsie who battles and comes out with the ball. Sasha has the speed of a cheeta and great skills. Congrats to both for a great year.
