Breathitt is playing really good basketball right now, I think Coach Fugate has got his players focused and enjoying themselves. This game is going to come down to how Alex Hamilton and Wes Noble play, if Knott Central allows Hamilton and Noble to run wild then the Patriots will be in for a tough time. When Hamilton and Noble are playing lights out that draws the attention to them and that is when Ryan Cox plays his best game, Cox can shoot the lights out if he is given chances. Also another factor is going to be how Richard Trent and Josh Fletcher play, if Trent plays the garbage man role as well as he has been then that will be a huge part of Breathitt's chance at winning.
If Breathitt comes to play I take the Bobcats by 6, but if Knott plays their "A" game then Knott will win by 15+.

I think Breathitt is very capable of winning this game.
The key for KCC is to not go zone - that crap will not work this far in region, stay man-2-man or else Breathitt can jump out.
#23 is a good shooter from deep. Don't lose him on D cause he can get hot.

Knott was barely able to outlast a young Hazard team and Breathitt completely dominated in their game. I think this will be a good game but, I think that Breathitt wins this.
Breathitt Co. 65-60

Let's not act like Knott didn't kick tail up until Florida. Came back rattled, let teams hang with them including Letcher at home. Got pumped for Perry and got put back in their place after allowing Perry to come back and win. Went to Jackson rattled and got it handed to them. Since then, Knott has regrouped. Losing on a buzzer beater ON THE ROAD at Buckhorn, who by the way are good and still playing last I checked, call Perry and see. I'll take a loss by 2 rather than a loss on a neutral floor by 4 when it matters myself but that's beating a dead horse. From there, Knott kept thr lead (after pulling the seniors who don't play on senior night) the whole way against the same Estill team, beat a Jenkins team in Jenkins like they should and put together a game plan to beat a quality Letcher team for a 3rd time and was ahead the whole game. Then beat a very scrappy Hazard team that hit 1,000,000 3s long enough to be 4s and stayed on the free throw line. Yeah I think Knott is right where they need to be. I'm not a crazy Knott fan. Those are facts good sir, enjoy.
If they hit a million threes they would have scored at least three-million points....
so that can't be a fact

Knott by 7, they want it.
The last time I checked Breathitt is wanting it too :1:

The Breathitt @ Knott game is the worst game that I have seen Breathitt play all year. I am not making excuses but that was Breathitt's 4th game in a week. Breathitt couldn't make a shot and Knott couldn't miss. Then Knott came to Breathitt and Knott couldn't make a shot and Breathitt couldn't miss. Personally I think that Breathitt's defense stunned Knott but some on here say they where rattled from a florida trip. Should be a dog fight from start to finish.

Knott was actually coming down from the Perry game, it was hyped as much as any regional championship and was viewed live on WYMT. Not to make exuses but Knott had one day off in which 2 starters had to miss practice due to college interviews, and then travel to Breathitt. It was Breathitt's senior night and the boys had to wait forever to get the lights back on..
I think Knott will win, but it will be close..
P.S. always exuses to be made...
