The Boston Celtics are aggressively trying to trade Rajon Rondo, their fourth-leading scorer and one of the NBA's best point guards, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

I would keep rondo and build around him. May take awhile to get where they want to be but I think it would pay off. Hes an awful good player to get rid of. IMO good point guards are hard to come by.

You may laugh but I propose this trade:

Celtics get:
Tyreke Evans
2nd Round Pick
Rondo's contract paid off

Kings get:
Rajon Rondo

Imagine Rondo and Cousins. Both hate losing, both have undeniable skills. Kings have a ton of cap room, AND are going to be looking for another star to help sell the new arena they have agreed to build.

First this is ridiculous. Kings would have to give more than that, plus why would Rondo agree to that. Sacramento is awful. I don't look for them to keep Cousins long anyways.

The Celtics don't need to trade Rondo, but he is the only player that has trade value. He is the only one they can get quality players for. The Big Three have very little left in the tank. Garrnett and Allen both should retire soon, and the Celtics need to keep Pierce just so he can retire there. I thkn they owe him that much. That only leaves Rondo. I think they should try to build around him, but I don't see it happening. Maybe they could get Jordan to agree to trade the first pick, the Bobcats are surely to get it, for Garrnett and Allen. Imagine Rondo lobbing to Davis.

Rondo in a kings jersey, turrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible idea! I think charles would agree lol. KG and Allen in a bobcats jersey, equally awful idea. I rather them retire then play for a useless team with no chance of winning. Hell, LA needs a 3 point shooter and someone to play SF.......veterans minimum is all we offer them though haha. And before anyone says it, yes that makes the older which is not what we are going for, but id be okay with it lol.
