Owen started with a 10 point lead, and never looked back.
There are 8 good and even teams going to New Castle next week, so it should be a great tourney.

Yes it should. I can't wait to see the draw, but no matter who plays who it should be a great tournament as always. There is nothing like traveling to Henry County to watch the 8th region tournament at the beginning of March.

Owen lead 18-5 after the first, and had as much as an 18-point lead in the first half at 29-11.
As I said in the thread I started last night, OC had to weather some foul trouble that affected their all-region stars (S. Williams and Osborne). Gallatin cut the lead to 8 right after halftime behind Travis Davis and Kristian Morgan and looked to be making their move to make it a game, but Owen was able to hold them off from getting any closer than that. For the most part, OC's lead was between 10-14 points most of the second half. Big nights from Shelton, Ripy and the 8th grader Carson Williams helped lead the way.
Owen probably isnt in the top flight of contenders for the 8th region, but they are capable of beating anyone and could get hot and win three in a row. Should be a fun 8th region tournament.
