Maybe if you guys wouldn't bring Coach Runyon into all of these JC threads, this wouldn't happen.
Your probably right and I will say he shouldn't have been mentioned in this thread. I've not brought him up so I don't want you guys mad at me. Have a good one my man and hows the curve ball this spring?
Not near as good as my slider and the straight change. But I'm working on it.
Keep working hard my man. Good things come to those who work hard.

Not that it matters, but since it was brought up, Paintsville has always had a parade around town and such when they have won regionals or any other accomplishment in sports. Also when the Paintsville Lady Tigers were going to the All A their little parade went right by JCHS and had been silent until they passed the school. Then all of a sudden all their car horns went blarring! Please....
Oh, and by the way, I have been awaken by sirens at home by the Tigers rolling in from their wins as well...
I didn't complain though...I knew the kids were happy and that is just part of it! It wasn't the kids blarring the sirens anyway..they were just in the bus!
ONE! That wasn't a celebration. It's called an escort. And it's just because the police or whatever offered to ESCORT our girls into town. TWO!The bus's route is the road by JCHS. THREE! This is no excuse to use just because of your all's little parade. The girls coming into town was totally different. I just told you how, so those of you who are wandering "how?" you may want to go back up and reread this post.

Who said it was a celebration?  Didn't even see that word in my post.  Another thing was that there is another way out of Paintsville but I just happened to be outside when they went by.  I heard the sirens and wondered what was going on.  Then when all the cars got in front of the school they started blaring their horns.  I didn't hear any horns in front of other places.  I don't care one way or the other.  I think it is great when we celebrate something as a town.  I was in the parade celebration when PHS won state.  So I get a little tired when a people use a double standard for things.  If PHS would have won do you think an escort would have been waiting for them?  I will let you answer that.

Okay. I understand what you're saying now. I misunderstood you before. I mean, there is absolutely nothing wrong with driving around town to celebrate and show everyone how proud you are. Nothing's wrong with that at all. But there are some people who take it too far.
