This yearâs 46th District tournament is at Mercer County High School. Both girlsâ teams will play on Monday, and the boys will play on Tuesday.
The East Jessamine girls drew the No. 4 seed after an 0-6 record in the district. The Lady Jaguars are 3-23 overall and will face No. 1 seed Mercer County on Monday at 6 p.m. Mercer won both regular season meetings beating East 65-28 on Jan. 2, and 70-15 on Jan. 27.
The West Jessamine girls finished the regular season with a 2-4 mark in the district â both wins coming against East Jessamine â and will be the No. 3 seed in the tournament. The Lady Colts will play No. 2 Burgin on Monday at 7:45 p.m. Burgin edged West 51-46 on Jan. 23 and 62-47 on Dec. 22. The Lady Colts are 5-21 overall.
