For most high school athletes, the trip from the last class of the day to practice is a short one.
It might be a walk down the hall to the gym.
Or perhaps across the parking lot to a field or a court.
On a rare occasion, it might be just a short drive.
But for the Nelson County swim team, itâs a 30-minute plus bus ride to the Lebanon Aquatic Center.
âOftentimes, weâre on the bus as long as weâre in the water,â said Cardinal coach Curt Scifres.
