Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Alex Botkin, 6-0 Sr. Emily Johns. 6-0 Sr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-8 Sr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-9 Jr. Octavia Wilson. Tates Creek coach Justin Cheatham countered with 5-9 Jr. Katie Pippen, 5-5 Sr. Michelle Tichenor, 6-1 Sr. Peyton Hisel, 5-5 Jr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Jr. Oney Harrison.

Lexington Catholic pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Tates creek by a score of 58-42. Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 33.3% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Commodores connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including three three point baskets. Wilson pulled down five rebounds and recorded four steals. Alex Botkin added 17 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Botkin was six of seven from the field and five of eight free throws.

Peyton Hisel led Tates Creek with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Katie Pippen added 11 points and seven rebounds. Michelle Tichenor chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.
