You hear the redundantly repetitive lists: Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, The Godfather, Raging Bull, Taxi, West Side Story, etc...
However, what is that movie that, in your opinion, is underrated.
I will allow some free-play with the question. Maybe you choose to say I believe a certain movie, while not an all-time great, should not be considered a flop or a Razzie. Maybe you were a person that enjoyed "Stop or my Grandma will shoot!" or "The Adventures of Pluto Nash", etc...
However you choose to answer, and please explain your answers, what is the most underrated movie of all time?

IMO, Braveheart is one of the most underrated movies of all time.
Most people say they like it, but I was amazed to learn that it won 5 Oscars and was nominated for 10! They were not just editing awards either, Best Picture and Best Director were two of them. On IMDB.com it is listed as the #87 movie in the top 250. Right above Pan's Labyrinth and right below All About Eve.
I believe it is easily a Top 20 movie of all time.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

^I have a couple of buddies that REALLY love Big Fish. I just didn't get it. I have heard it said that if you like it, you love it. It must be true, just like the Office.
