Final score was 68-28, not that it matters.
Breathitt could have made it worse but Coach Fugate didn't press and played zone. They have a very good team. I couldn't get over how much Wes Noble has grown since his 7th grade year when he was at Owsley while his dad coached there. He has to be at least 6'3.
Owsley had 3 starters out--Grove injured knee, Hall bruised hip, and Shelby for disciplinary reasons. But Breathitt is better than Owsley even if the Owls had the entire team. The one bright spot for Owsley, though, is they have 4 starters back for two more years and another is a junior. The bench is all 8th and 9th graders.
