Senior point guard Bopper Stenzel led all scorers with 22 points and the Cardinals (8-2) shot 63 percent from the field to hand the Trojans (7-1) their first loss of the season. Stenzel was 8-for-12 from the field on the night, including four 3-pointers. Alan Almanza led Southern with 18 points and Aaron Baker chipped in 14.
