Southwestern had to much pressure and length for the young Cardinal team to overcome. Why didn't Dagan Shelton play for Wayne?

I never thought one of Wade Upchurch's grandsons would give up basketball for football. He is a very good football player though. Impressive win for Southwestern. They have been destroying people so far. The Southwestern /Pulaski County game should be a great one.

I'm pretty sure you're right. That's what I've heard. He decided to give up basketball to focus on football.

Sounds like the Warriors might be the team to beat over there in the 12th.

Per Wayne County faithful Blake Upchurch, Dagan Shelton did not quit he is still playing basketball he didnt play against Southwestern due to a knee injury.

Thanks Captain
Wayne could have used Shelton to get the ball up the floor. He wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome.. but would have made a difference in the margin of the outcome.

I also noticed that Ryan Dishman wasn't in the box score. Did he not play or not score?? The kid can flat out shoot!

^Thanks xtrapoint!! I don't want to start a big debate over this, nor do I want to change the subject of the thread. But how do you think Dishman got eligible so quick?? Aren't you suppose to sit out a year or something in that nature?

If you move from one school district to another school district that doesn't apply.
