If you bothered to do that much research, you might want to look a little deeper and learn that the free throw counts in games at LC this season have generally been within four FTs of even -- so, homered is pretty much OUT of the question.
With the exception of the Letcher Central game in Louisa, all the visitors have had their key performers in for the very last tick of the clock, which is more than the Bulldogs have been able to accomplish since in 20 percent of their home games Shawn Thompson has been fouled out and in another three was in serious foul trouble. So, were you saying something about "homered"?

Well, how I feel is that people let their strong feelings get in the way of the facts. :Geek:

Believe me, I understand people getting irritated with LC fans -- to listen to them it is as if they've never lost a fair contest, but if you're gonna beat up on them, at least get the facts when you do it. Otherwise, you just look like a silly homer as well.

BTW, if you're a Pond Creeker, please tell Matt Maynard to shoot for the stars in football -- terrific athlete, one of the better I have seen all season in the area!

I had no idea that Belfry lost this one. (Haven't had enough time to read a paper this week). Sounds like it was a good game, just a 3 point win. Doesn't sound like any team rocked the other one..it appears by the score that it was fairly evenly matched.

Yea P.P. it was a great game, its sad that Belfry only had a handful of fans with them.

Lawrence had a 14 point lead and Belfry fought there way back into the game.
