Newport
Coach: Kent Vories (10-16 in one season)
Last season: 5-19 (lost to Dayton in district first round)
Outlook: Vories replaces Joe Bramlage as coach after just two seniors graduated. Vories is in his second stint with the team. His last previous season at Newport was 2008-09. There were seven juniors on the roster last season and three sophomores, so the bulk of Newport's rotation should return intact. Those seven juniors were with the team as sophomores.
