Outlook: Russell's return to his alma mater after leading Newport to a regional championship was marked by many positives. The Camels won six of their first seven games and never lost two in a row during the regular season. They pushed Scott in the district final before losing by two in overtime. This season could be better. McGovney is closing in on 1,000 career points. He and Griffith are versatile players. "We have depth and really good shooters," Russell said.
