Coach: Michael Stinnett (seventh year).
Last season: 19-10, lost to Bullitt East 64-59 in first round of Sixth Region.
Player to watch: G-F Montez Buford (6-4, Sr., 8.2 ppg., 4.0 rpg.). Stinnett says Buford âis going to be one of the under-the-radar guys in the state. He had a solid junior year and an even better summer with our team in June. He is athletic and has developed a nice skill set.ââ
Other top players: F Keion Goff (6-2, Sr., 2.2 ppg., 1.5 rpg.); F James Drabo (6-3, Sr.); G Lafayette Jackson (5-10, Sr., 1.6 ppg.); G Jeremy Mack (5-9, Sr.); G Chaz Simon (5-9, Jr.).
Outlook: The Raiders graduated six of their top seven players last season with Buford being the only returning player with significant experience. âWe will gradually improve as the year goes because we have some kids who want to improve. We were competitive this summer against good competition.ââ
