I am excited for Jackson County and I'm proud of them for making the playoffs for the first time. Programs are built one step at a time and this is a huge step for the young program.
They have EARNED this playoff spot and I hope the community rallies around these young men and gives them tons of support come Friday night. I hope we see them roll into Belfry with some swagger and a winning attitude. I hope they give 100% and win or lose, they can hold their heads high and walk off the field with pride in their accomplishments. They will always be remembered as the first team to make the playoffs and maybe they can build on that and set their sights next season on a higher district finish and hopefully they can host a playoff game next season.
Good luck to all the Jackson Co players and fans, hope you have a safe trip to Belfry and I hope the game is exciting and hard fought.
