Congrats Panthers on HUGE STATEMENT win. Great way to head into the playoffs.
Great season for Valley. You accomplished more than what most if not all expected.
Good luck to both in the playoffs.

IMO just in theory 2006 Pikeville would had won the match up, they were very talented this year and should not had gotten beat by hazard in the playoffs, 2007 I believe Valley wins, to much speed on that team that Saunders had and i dont believe pikeville could had match up across the board with skill kids that valley had and that would had let to big plays. 2008 Pikeville wins, has a very strong running game that year. 2009 Valley wins very strong group of seniors that year and Pikeville was in the process of going from a wishbone offense to a spread offense. 2010 Pikeville wins again.

The powers at be need to make sure this game stay on both schools schedules cause it will create a great rivalry and great revenue game for the schools and saves them from any real expenses in travel time. Valley may have gotten it handed to them this time but from what I saw last night Coach Stepp doesnt have nearly the abundance of athletes that Coach Mac have, once the talent levels back out again I will be interested to see the outcome.

The only time that SV wouldve even had a remote chance to beat Pikeville was '09. I still dont think they couldve pulled it off. NO WAY SV beats Pikeville in '07. Harmon and The Honaker Twins wouldve killed them that year!

I'm not even sure we make it that far, but even if Hazard were to end the Panthers' season, I would take shelter in the good news that it would be their last win of the season. I could live with it.

Agreed. Since SV has never beaten Pikeville in history I won't give them the benefit of the doubt that they ever would have.

Aww...Someone got his feelings hurt. No blindside hit there, son, that was full on from the front almost. Just a little from the side. What about all the others though? Tackett kid steamrolling your d back? Charles (#7) kid hammering the ball carrier near the end of the clip, etc? Lots of good hits in there. And as I understand it, wasn't the contract agreed to before the Smith kid left SV? Most years, their schedule is full and it is not easy to add new teams to the schedule. Take your can of butt whipping like a man, y'all lost and you need to accept it. MOST years, the beatdown would look just like this one too, irregardless of if you are having a good year or not.

So Pikeville was "afraid" to play you guys but played the likes of Belfry, Boyle County, P-Burg, Ashland, Corbin, Danville, Swain County, NC. ETC HAHA! Please tell me youre serious!?!? If you are then that would make that statement even funnier....:biglmao:
