A comment on the standings related to the new alignment that creates 6 team districts in classes 2 - 5.

It looks like if you are lucky enough to be in a 4 team district or are in class 1A or 6A you will make the playoffs and get an extra week of playing time in even if you are 0 - xx. If you are in a 6 team district and are decent and get some wins but are not strong in your own district - you could be sitting out of the playoffs.

Of course all the 1A and 6A teams will make the playoffs by design. They are special (for some reason).

So the when the standings show that 0 - xx teams will make the playoffs while teams that maybe around .500 may not make the playoffs - something is wrong.

How do the districts pair up in the playoffs?
