University of Kentucky commitment Archie Goodwin and top UK target Alex Poythress will be playing a game in Lexington this season.
The schools of the two top 20 players will participate in the Dunkin Donuts National Shootout on Jan. 7 at Lexington Catholic.
Goodwin, who plays for Sherwood, Ark., Sylvan Hills, became UKâs first 2012 commitment earlier in the week. Poythress, a star at Clarksville, Tenn., Northeast, will visit UK for Big Blue Madness and is a top target for the class.
An event schedule hasnât been finished.
Those two teams will play either Lexington Catholic or Lafayette. Other teams scheduled to compete include Sayre, Wolfe County, Lincoln County and Harrison County.
LexCath will offer presale tickets. Information will be announced at a later time.>

I'd love to be able to get down there and watch. Goodwin and Poythress are two of the three guys I have wanted most out of the 2012 class, Shabazz being the other.
Poythress will be a matchup nightmare in Cal's offense.

Then consider yourself invited. Nice bright gym, seats about 1800, will have 2000+ that night. Pizza at concession stand is the best. If lot is full park at school across street, no prob.
When C.J Leslie played in this event 2010 and UK was recruiting him, it was SRO and Calipari brought the whole team and all the coaches. With Goodwin committed and UK playing at 4 that afternoon at home, surely they'll do the same for this. Be a fun night!

^ I would expect so, and as long as the Cats are off, it would be a pretty cool thing for the Cats to do
