I just don't know what to expect. If SC had been performing up to expectations, this would be a battle royale. But with the slump they have been in, everyone is expecting a big Belfry win.
I'm not so sure.
Hager is a motivator, especially against the Big Red Machine. I could see the Cardinals coming out hungry and showing everyone what type of team they are capable of being.
I guess we will all know tonight. I can't wait.

^^^
I predict Shawn Hager Underdog Gameplan 101:
- Linemen with very tight splits, run up the gut and lay on linemen's backs, fall forward.
- Run play clock to the very last second, very slowly unpile
- Whichever RB or linemen is not directly involved in the play has to get behind the pile and push.
- Run with both hands on the ball, no fumbles.
- Defensively keep everything in front of them, allow 4 yards a pop but nothing down the field.
In other words shorten the game, eliminate mistakes, use Belfry's TOP against them to keep the score close, look to win the game late. He has used this blueprint several times against Belfry and in big games where SC was at a disadvantage personnel wise.

The difference in those games were that SC had superior line play, or at least equal line play, which allowed them to do those things.
I am not sure they can execute that plan with the current personnel against the Pirates.
