KP has worked to hard in his career for this to happen to him i apologize to him i wish he could have been my age and played a healthy year that season. He deserves better. he and Tim are enough to win games im sure of it. their schedule is gonna pay off in the years to come. They start three freshman this year and that is going to play a major role in years to come

No, he didn't! He could have helped, I'm sure, for they definitely needed help.

Just want to say congrats to these Panthers on a fine win. Just keep going, and keep on winning. We're proud of you and what you've done so far this season. Coach Mac and staff are doing a great job with these young men. And yes, the wins may end next game because Belfry is going to be hard for anybody to beat, but one thing is for certain, this team WILL NOT give up and roll over for anybody. HAIL PIKEVILLE!!

Congratulations to Coach Mac and staff on a Big win. This group seems to be working hard and it is paying off. Good Luck the rest of the season.

IntheZone Wrote:Sc has talent but their line isn't up to par this season. Hager has faced adversity before tho he started his career at 2-8 so he knows how to face the challenge at hand. SC has not played a district game tho and im a firm believer in anything can happen at ne time. SC can pull together but they just have to believe in each other i hope they do because this program is one of the best in the state and has an extremely good middle school program coming up. I just want us to keep interest in the program and keep the youngsters interestedyour line is weak. good running backs.need a passer, the smith kid is your best player.hager good defensive coach but thats it. hopefully they can turn it around.but times running out.

This is great stuff PT! Hail Pikeville! Go #21!

From the highlight video it appears that SC has a big lack of enthusiasm. Lots of linemen not staying with their blocks. Blocking backs that don't even block anyone. The line blocks like every play is a middle screen pass, make contact and let'em go. Total lack of intensity. These guys are through unless someone lights a fire under their rearends cause apparently losing doesn't do it. If something isn't done then these guy's don't win a game all season, including ER. That's ashame. Way to much talent and size.

From watching the video, I am assuming the Sheldon Clark QB is young and inexperienced?

Sheldon Clark fans I wouldn't put my head down and give up yet. After all you're Sheldon Clark a naturally respected team in the area. It only takes one win for a team to rally around one another just one win. I believe once they pick up that first win they may turn things around in Inez. I shouldn't be boosting a district opponent confidence but you're in dark days and someone has to shed some light for you.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being positive. As Winston Churchill said: never, never give up, or something to that effect. Thus let' stay positive!

Not a thing wrong with light hearted fun, for if one can not laugh and move on, one will constantly be miserable.
From what I saw at the SC - Pikeville game, you Pikeville fans can be proud of your teams performance, for you have a very good football team.
And as a SC fan, I certainly hope that Sheldon Clark improves as the season moves forward.
They made many mistakes Friday night; they must minimize the mistakes and the line must improve dramatically so as to show improvement going forward.
