Clark Rowe Breaks the Rockcastle County Career Rushing Record

Congrats to this young man. No person has more rushing yards that ever wore a Rocket uniform. Not Marty Regan, not Derek Bussell, not anybody.

What are his stats compared to Regan in each year they played. I think one yr all we did was throw the ball, i bet Rowe has alot more carries than regan

I dunno what his yardages are each year. I know that he played in the first game he had his freshman year and then did not play much varsity after that. He wanted to play with his younger team mates on the freshman team. His sophmore year was a biggest with a slight drop off last year. Here's to hoping for a real prosporous year for the boy this year.

One advantage Marty had was that there was a passing game to respect. That is why Clark's feat is even more great. Counting this year, people know just to stack the box, yet he gets his 150-200 yards every game.

I will say this. Dusty Miller might have put it out of reach if he had not got hurt that year that Gabe Stallsworth filled in during the playoffs. So many people forget that Rockcastle County lost their star RB and STILL went to the State-Semi's that season.

congradulations to mr.rowe ,from bell county ,on a great accomishment.clarke got the record with far more inferior teams than these other gentlemen had ,he did a lot on his own.:1:

PJ Rowe has the sack record

Records are made to be broken but Marty was a great representative of high school football for Rockcastle County, he was well liked and respected by all teams. Your post makes it sound like Marty was a bad guy or something, maybe you didn't mean it that way.

Per KHSAA:

Clarke Rowe's 195 yards surpassed Marty Reagan's RCHS career rushing yardage mark of 4345 yards. Rowe, a 5'10 210 Sr now has 4420 career rushing yards.

I played against Marty Reagan Arliss Beach and West from lawrence. I would rather play the other two every game than Reagan. He hurt you on both sides. Even though he doesn't hold the record he still is the best back from the Rock ever.
