*We would like to thank everyone for all their hard work this week. Four days of hard work is a lot to ask of parents and family members (from concession to selling dinners to keeping the scoreclock), but so many people helped and were so positive about it even though they were worn out. We would also like to thank Mr. Burke and Mrs. Jarrell, along with the custodians for all the work they've done. Personally I would like to thank my mother and father and my wife for all they do to help. It would be hard to host this tournament without their help. The money made at this tournament will certainly help alot with the expenses of the season.
Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank all teams who participated in the 2011 Ladycat Classic. The tournament field was a very competitive one with so many unpredictable results. In the end, Herald Whitaker outlasted the rest, doing so in fairly easy fashion tonight to take the title. We certainly saw a lot of talented players this week who will almost certainly make a huge impact on their high school teams in the future.

They definitely are. Tonight they looked like the team everyone has been talking about. Jazzy Howard completely took over in both games. She is a great player and so entertaining to watch. She also seems like she has a great attitude.
