Alright, I just got home, but what went down was what I expected. I was positive after CM Punk squashed Del Rio at RAW, he was getting the tittle before the end of Summer Slam!

It was nice to see Edge back, but honestly I had no interest in seeing Orton go over Christian!

John Cena's foot was on the bottom rope and referee Triple H didn't notice giving Punk the win.

I expected Sheamus to go over Mark Henry and was pleasantly surprised to see WWE stick with the play to make Henry a Monster! Maybe, just maybe, the plan is to keep building Henry as the unstoppable monster all the way to his defeat at the hands of Taker in WM!!!!

2 hours ago, WWE Champion CM Punk managed to beat interim WWE Champion John Cena, despite shoddy officiating from the special guest referee and current Chief Operations Officer, Triple H. He was then caught off guard by Kevin Nash and a subsequent Jackknife Power Bomb. Then Alberto Del Rio, cashed in his Raw Money in the Bank briefcase, and thus became the first full-blooded, Mexican born WWE Champion.
Understandably, the reaction from the internet wrestling community is one of sheer ire over such an injustice that has been committed to CM Punk. Talks of backstage politics, complaints about a predictable finish and general discontent clearly dominate the conspiracy theories that us fans have been left to speculate. And so, with 19 hours left until the Monday Night Raw episode that will happen in San Diego, all I’m left to say is this…
Congratulations, sir.
I’m not bothered by Del Rio winning. On the contrary, I’d take the same opportunity had I been in his place. But the reason why I don’t feel any amount of ire towards Del Rio taking advantage is a reason that is the simplest of all and that every fan in the IWC should try to cope with.
He’s had it coming, for a long, long time, for 5 months. Ever since he won the 40-man Royal Rumble, we were given with the impression that Del Rio’s WrestleMania moment would be a World Heavyweight Championship win over the champion at the time, Edge. April 4th passed, and all Del Rio got was a loss to Edge.
Let me take it a step further, with the following pay-per-view; WWE Extreme Rules. Del Rio invoked his rematch clause against Edge. Edge upped the ante by making the bout a ladder match. Then a sudden change skewed those plans, for a bit, when Edge landed a spear on Brodus Clay, NXT Season 4 rookie that was under the tutelage of Del Rio. The neck injury prevented Edge from competing once again, thus it was up to Christian, via winning a SmackDown battle royal to win his way into the tile match. Del Rio was projected to win, but Christian won the title instead.
Let’s fast forward to Del Rio nearly being lost in the shuffle on Raw and into Money in the Bank. After winning an impromptu Number 1 Contender’s match on Raw, he was thrust into being one of the participants for the Raw Money in the Bank ladder match. Naturally, he won that match, as he got to take off Rey Mysterio’s mask in the process.
Now, as I’m sure everyone knew what has transpired after the WWE Title match on SummerSlam, I’m here to elaborate why people shouldn’t be mad at Alberto Del Rio winning the WWE Championship. First of all, as I stated previously, he deserved it, for his tremendous patience on having his championship moment postponed for 5 months. Secondly, his skills in the ring are more than justified evidence to support his new title reign, with his mic skills slightly improving somewhat. The simple fact this has transpired is because it gives WWE some good PR, that it promotes diversity in its workforce.
To further emphasize on that point, he’s the first full-blooded Mexican (not like Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, unfortunately, they were born in Texas and California, respectively) to win this prestigious title. The WWE will be making a tour over in Mexico, so this was needed in order to gain more favor with the Mexican audience, despite Del Rio being the heel. The fact that he won it at SummerSlam, in Los Angeles, a city that houses a good amount of Latino consumers in their population, makes this accomplishment even more agreeable to notice.
In short, while Del Rio has staked his claim as the first Mexican-born WWE Champion, he has also earned himself a bonus prize; that prize being the rage and hate of the IWC. Because as soon as he walked to the ring with a referee, he’s lambasted like the heel he’s portrayed to be for cashing his Money in the Bank contract on a beaten CM Punk. As soon as he connected that running enzugiri on Punk, he’s being heralded a talentless hack that’s not worthy of the championship. As soon as the 3-count was made, Del Rio has effortlessly earned your rage.
You made a heel be as annoying as John Bradshaw Layfield when he was WWE Champion back in mid-2004. You made him catch more heat than the starting line-up of the Miami Heat during the first year of the Big 3. And I'm pretty sure, that Del Rio is thanking you all right now for this reaction.
Just sit back, relax, and watch the upcoming Raw, to see Alberto Del Rio troll the WWE Universe some more. It’s his job description, and with winning the WWE Championship, he’s doing a fine job at provoking your disgust. To steal a line from Del Rio himself, to which I’m sure he’ll use tomorrow night; “But you, you already knew that.”
And just enjoy what's going on now. Because it's demonstrably more preferable to another John Cena title run, in most of your cases.

First off, why wasn't Jim Ross on commentary?
Booker T is absolutely god awful on commentary, like Mike Adamle bad.
6 man tag was alright I guess, Raw faces get the win.
Was disappointed that Mark Henry beat Sheamus, even tho it was by countout. Sheamus should have went over.
Beth looked awesome in her new gear, but I was really stunned Kelly Kelly beat her clean. Smh!
Barrett > Bryan was a bit of a head stratcher, I have a gut feeling Bryan will likely be losing the MITB briefcase at some point down the road, likely to Barrett...why not just have him win it at MITB, makes no sense.
Christian/Orton was a very good match, probably the better of the trilogy. But Orton doesn't need the belt, and Christian basically goes back to zero. Plus I don't like Orton, so boo I don't like it.
CM Punk/John Cena was another good match, not as good as their match at MITB but still ok. I was happy that Punk beat Cena clean with not much complain from Cena. Kevin Nash showing up and taking out Punk was very shocking, definitely coming from left field. I knew when he took out Punk, Del Rio was coming out, so that wasn't a surprise.
After I thought about it, I think we will happen is Triple H and Stephanie will be behind Nash coming out, which in the end The Kliq would reform with Triple H/Nash/X-Pac & possibly even Shawn Michaels as the heels. CM Punk would likely form a bond with John Cena & maybe even The Rock and somebody else to feud with The Kliq.
If that happened, then I'm cool with how everything turned out.
