Just curious.. I know we have a lot of posters from the Pikeville area.. Is there any good jobs down that way?
I know I will more than likely be eligible for unemployment, but to be honest I will go stare crazy just sitting at the house all the time.. People at my current work place are so happy that they are going to be drawing unemployment but not me. I don't want to take that route unless I have too.
I am looking for a job that's around 10 an hour and up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mr. Onion Head, I am not sure if you are joking or if you are serious?

ACS pays pretty good after awhile it's the same thing that you're coming from.

I hear good and bad things about it HawksRule...
In your opinion, what would you suggest?
You ever worked there?
As of October 1st me and zaga_fan will be unemployed.

Personally I haven't worked there but I've had plenty of buddies that have. The way they talked they made pretty good money. For 10 an hour I can't think of much around here. Big Sandy Superstore pays pretty good also though.

I had a few friends that worked at AT&T then went there because it as closer to home and they ending up doing them bad until they finally quit.

What's your background Ballers?
I would look into Equitable Resources. They pay pretty well.

I do believe ACS starts about $10 an hour. It is basically the same job as your currently doing. I know several people that either have or had worked there. Some like it some dont. You will get that in any job. IMO its what you make of it. They are usually hiring.
There are also some local auto dealers hiring for sales jobs with no experience. Walters Toyota had an ad in the paper guarantee $2,000 a month to start.
Hope this helps.

Honestly, I would look into being a waiter at Texas Roadhouse. It will be opening Labor Day weekend and the only competition it will have is Renos and Applebees. You would make a killing the first few months in tips. At least that's something to look into while you look around for something.

Try Appalachian Wireless. We are always hiring customer service reps and sales reps. Sales reps make some pretty damn good money too and we are in bad need of some around Prestonsburg, Paintsville, and Pikeville.

Appalachian had 3 job openings on the website and I applied for all of them

Good deal. With your experience, it shouldn't be difficult for you to get hired on.
