Paintsville turns a 3 point haftime lead into a 28 point win.
Jarrell 23

Sounds like Paintsville done a great job!..
Where was this played at???

What happened to ER?
#3
Played at Paintsville.
In the first half ER stayed in the game by using the pick and roll, Paintsville defended it much better in the second half and held ER to only 16 second half points.

Well, I guess all those Jarrell bashers from ER might be eatin some crow after tonight. They have been saying all year that Hogston and Conley were better than Jarrell just because they looked better in the summer. Well I got news for em', she is hitting full stride, kickin @$$ and takin names. Me and sportwhiz talked about this game lastnight before the Super Bowl came on about how we would like to see the Lady Tigers beat ER by 20 or more and Chelsee have a big game, well I guess our lil wish came true tonight.

Not taking anything away from Hogston or Conley, they are good ball players, but when Chelsee is on top of her game, she can dominate ANYONE in this region. Heard she missed about 3-4 gimme buckets, she could have easily had 30 tonight. I was kinda shocked to hear that she only had 6 rebounds especially after the way she hit the boards in Richmond, ah well, they won, that's all that matters.

Keep It Rollin Girls...Congrats on the BIG victory!!!

Good Luck the rest of the year ER.

It was definately a tale of 2 halves. In the first half PHS only shot 38% on 11-29 shooting. Hoggston had 7 points and Conley had 12 points.

In the second half PHS was 19-26 from the field for a blistering 73%. They also held Hoggston to 4 points and Conley to 2 points. PHS picked up the defensive tempo. They looked like they did at Richmond.

PHS- 17-9-20-19--67
ER - 11-12-9-7---39

Turnovers:
PHS-12
ER--20

PHS was 30-55 Fg for 55%

Stats:
L.Carroll 14 pts, 7-9 FG, 3 steals
K.Carroll 21 pts, 10-17 FG, 4 reb, 3 steals, 3 blocks
Jarrell 23 pts, 9-13 FG, 6 reb, 2 assists, 5 steals
Russell 0 pts, 5 reb, 10 assists, Best game she's played in a log time.
Adams 2 pts, 6 reb, 4 assists Another solid game from the freshman.

Is this the team were going to start seeing all the time??? I'm talking about the second half. They were a joy to watch. Great passing, unselfish play, better defense, and they didn't force anything. They really played under control.

Chelsee was 1-5 from the field in the first half. She was 6-6 in the 3rd quarter and 2-2 in the 4th. Yeah, she missed 4 shots she normally hits. That would have been a nice stat (13-13 FG)

As far as rebounding, it's pretty hard for her to get her normal 4-5 offensive rebounds when you shoot 73-74% in the second half. Another thing is Kendra had 4 reb, Russell had 5 reb, and Katie had 6 reb.

BTW, that's the worst loss of the season for East Ridge.

The score was 62-36 with 3:08 left when PHS's starters came out.

This is a wide margin of victory considering that Paintsville never pressed and was dliberate in their halfcourt offense as well!

Congrats to Paintsville!

#11

Congrats to Paintsville, and to Jarrell on a monster game as well as the Carroll sisters. Glad to see they picked up in the Region where they left off. Take that momentum and ride it as long and as far as you can. Best of luck the rest of the way.

They could make some noise. I did see that from them!
#14
Congrats to the Lady Tigers! From looking at the stats there were quite a few assist tonight. TEAM BALL! Got their heads up looking for a teammate with a better shot. Good job girls, Keep it up!

ER, get ready for tomorrow, cause if I aint mistaken, you got the Lady Eagles down there on Tuesday. Another tough group of young ladies playing some pretty good ball. Good luck and keep your heads up!
#15
Congrats to the Tigers. ER only played one half of basketball tonight it seems. They quit and they have no one to blame, but themselves. Good luck to both teams in the future.

ER beat JC by like 20 at PCC
#16
Paintsville is just too good for Er. JC will beat them just as bad.

ER has already beat JC earlier in the season
#18
That was at the first of the year. JC is much improved and Er isn't!

Listen. I am on here to state my opinion, not to argue with people like you. If you don't like what I have to say, then I advise you to either not read and if you disagree, then just don't reply. Okay. I am not going to sit at school and chit chat and argue back and forth with someone.

I have to give Paintsville credit for playin a good 2nd Half, E.R came in and just played ball in the 1st Half, But overall both teams done pretty good. Congrats Lady Tigers, & Lady Warriors keep your heads up, Good Luck with JCHS tonite!
#21
WOW, thats a HUGE SHOCKER
#22
Why do you say that??? You must not have seen the Lady Tigers at the All A State. We all noticed improvement each game down there. They're not the same team everyone had seen. They are just now to full strength. That makes a big difference.
#23
Get it together ER. Loss to Paintsville and a loss to JC now.
Something apparently isn't working so change the gameplan.
Best of luck girls. I KNOW that you all can do it. I've seen you play! I know you personally! You don't lack the talent, show people that.
#24
Good Job Lady Tigers!
